Radiant Creature

The result of an explosive 30-second performance on the fretboard created the “creature”-like image seen in this electrified work. Thought abstract, the undeniable presence of a “spirit” or “being” is easy to spot when studying this piece.

Measuring 30”x 40” on canvas, there are a total of 50 pieces available in the edition. All are numbered and individually signed by Joe Satriani and SceneFour. Each ship with a Certificate of Authenticity.

On the work, Satriani states:
"In another dimension, sound may turn into matter. Complex sounds may turn into complex creatures! Sometimes sci-fi can make you laugh and wonder all at once. What exactly is this creature?"

Joe Satriani Art

Radiant Collection is the debut fine art release from guitar legend Joe Satriani. Working with acclaimed Los Angeles art team SceneFour, Satriani's work is a unique fusion of mediums. The process of creation began with the guitarist utilizing a customized glove that tracks, via light, movements on the fretboard to construct visuals onto canvas. The second phase of the creation process took place at Satriani's home, where he worked with many of the guitar-on-canvas pieces, adding acrylic paint to the works. After completing the pieces, the guitarist named each visual and then edition sizes were selected for the works.

Each piece in Radiant Collection is available to collectors worldwide. All are individually signed by Joe Satriani and SceneFour. All are numbered and ship with a Certificate of Authenticity.
